🌊 Le Galet hosted its 2nd Cleaning Day!
On Saturday, April 5th, our beach came alive with solidarity and environmental commitment. Thanks to the involvement of 200 volunteers and 30 divers, we successfully collected over 300 kg of waste, both from the sea and the shoreline.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in this essential day, as well as to our amazing partners who led awareness stands and creative workshops throughout the event:
La Tricyclette Design, which offered a participatory art piece open to all,
La Maison de l’Environnement, which gathered shells from Boccaccio to create a creative workshop for both children and adults,
Le Centre de Découverte Mer et Montagne, which took care of sorting the collected waste on-site,
La Métropole de Nice, which provided all the necessary equipment for the event and handled the removal of the waste.
Thanks to this collective effort, the operation once again highlighted the importance of preserving our coastline and the Mediterranean Sea.
